We served close to 7000 kids - almost all of them from economically disadvantaged Title 1 schools. The attendance at the Family concert was over 1110 - significant in that it demonstrates a growing success even in a dismal economy.

Once again, I want to thank you for the fabulous performances of Tchaikovsky Discovers America. After watching it four times in performance plus rehearsal, I was a little sad when the last show ended. I could have watched it again. Roger and Natalie were terrific. The Toronto Symphony Orchestra has booked Classical Kids for the last 15 years, ever since they started with their first production, Beethoven Lives Upstairs. I generally programme one of their works every other year and it serves to anchor my season.

The story and visuals help to hold the attention of the younger children, while the older ones really do engage with a deeper understanding of both the music and the period.

Our audiences love these productions and I will continue to book on a biannual basis.

You've done a great job of putting the Beethoven show together. The actors were fantastic. I enjoyed the experience very much and look forward to conducting the other shows as well!

What struck me was how this program touched each member of the audience. Many thanks for your excellent Mozart's Magnificent Voyage this past Sunday. This may be the most engaging of the programs. The little ones were mesmerized by Karl whooshing from stage right to stage left. The "tweens were immediately drawn into the story. The parents were smiling the entire time at the humor directed just for them, and there were quite a lot of teary-eyed parents at the end who got Wolfgang's message.

Hooray for your team. They did a tremendous job!

You have all done a marvelous job developing and presenting this program. Often during the show I found myself thinking, "This is why I'm a musician." We were due for something of this quality and I think you could tell that by how well it was received!

I must say I have never had a crowd come up to me and say so many nice things about a production.... they loved it!!! And so did I. We have done some nice productions in the past but I think this was absolutely spot on for the crowd ...the children and the adults...it was the "perfect" children's production -- perfect blend of music, performance and interesting information. The storyline was absolutely marvelous.

We recently performed Beethoven Lives Upstairspresented by Classical Kids Live! The audience was composed of families with children from toddlers to teenagers. During the performance the entire audience, adults and children alike, were mesmerized and they showed their excitement and appreciation at the end of the performance with a rousing standing ovation. Every element of this production was extremely well thought out, well prepared and relatively simple from an operations standpoint. Director Paul Pement and the actors were professional and fun to work with. We look forward to presenting one of their other shows in the future.
